Jacie brings to the lab years of laboratory expertise from her time at McGovern Medical School, Pennington Biomedical Research Center, and University of Arizona Cancer Center.
Christopher Small
Postdoctoral research associate
Chris earned his Bachelors and Ph.D. from the University of New Brunswick. He brings years of experience with zebrafish, in which he studied polyploidy, hematopoiesis, and matrix metalloproteinases.
ailen soledad cervino
Postdoctoral research associate
Ailen earned her Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Buenos Aires. During her graduate work, she studied gastrulation morphogenesis in the frog Xenopus laevis.
Margaret eisenbrandt
Graduate student - Neuroscience graduate program
Margaret earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biomedical engineering from the University of Houston. She gained additional research experience as a technician at Baylor College of Medicine before joining for her PhD work.
adya verma
Graduate student - MSTP and Development, Disease Model, and Therapeutics graduate programs
Adya earned her Bachelors degree at University of California, Berkeley. She has a long-standing love of developmental biology from her time as an undergraduate researcher and technician at UCSF, where she studied tooth morphogenesis in mice.
