Margot earned her Ph.D. at the University of Virginia and completed postdoctoral training at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. After establishing her lab at Baylor College of Medicine, she and her zebrafish made the move to OSU in Columbus Ohio, where Margot grew up!

Jacie brings to the lab years of laboratory expertise from her time at McGovern Medical School, Pennington Biomedical Research Center, and University of Arizona Cancer Center.
Margaret eisenbrandt
Graduate student - Neuroscience graduate program
Margaret earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Biomedical engineering from the University of Houston. She gained additional research experience as a technician at Baylor College of Medicine before joining for her PhD work.
adya verma
Graduate student - MSTP and Development, Disease Model, and Therapeutics graduate programs
Adya earned her Bachelors degree at University of California, Berkeley. She has a long-standing love of developmental biology from her time as an undergraduate researcher and technician at UCSF, where she studied tooth morphogenesis in mice.
